HOW BEAUTIFUL IS A KINGFISHER

Watching a Kingfisher is amazing, the greenish blue as it flies, its snowy white patch on its neck as it turns its head.  The under parts that are orangy redish brown really set itself apart from other river birds.
Without the leaves on the willow trees I was able to watch him dart back and forth as it splashed into the water and then back to the perch in the tree.  It  flew under the bridge and into the Pwllheli harbour and then back again to its territory to guard his patch of the river.  The river runs fast as it approaches the bridge.
